• SuperGold Card status (if you claim the discount)

We collect personal information for the following lawful purposes connected to our business (IPP 1):

We collect personal information directly from you (IPP 2) when you:

• Complete our online quote form or sign up for a subscription
• Create an account on our website
• Contact us via email, phone, or our contact form
• Use our website (automatic data collection via cookies)

At the time of collection, we will tell you what information we are collecting, why, and who may receive it (IPP 3).

6. Third-Party Service Providers

7. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some of our third-party providers process data on servers located outside New Zealand, primarily in the United States (IPP 13). 9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected (IPP 9):

• Active customers: For the duration of your subscription and for 24 months after cancellation (to facilitate re-activation and resolve any outstanding matters).
• Payment records: For 7 years as required by New Zealand tax law (Tax Administration Act 1994).
• Quote sessions: Automatically deleted after 24 hours if not converted to a subscription.
• Marketing contacts: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

You may request earlier deletion of your data (see section 11).

10. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication, security, and core site functionality. These cannot be disabled.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
