Backyard Buddies was born from a lifetime of working with dogs. As the founder of 100% K9 Dog Training, I spend every day reading canine behaviour, understanding what makes dogs tick and helping families build better relationships with their pets. That hands-on experience showed me something most waste removal companies miss: a truly dog-friendly yard isn't just clean — it's safe.
Too many Auckland backyards were going unused because of the mess our four-legged family members leave behind. What should be a space for play, relaxation and barbecues was instead an obstacle course nobody wanted to navigate. As a professional dog trainer, I knew the health risks — parasites, bacteria and contamination that can affect both dogs and children.
